In Peru, Cargill has a grain and oilseeds trading office as well as three animal feed production plants, based in Lima, Chiclayo and Arequipa. Cargill Peru employs approximately 140 people. The company has been in Peru since 1963, when Pesquera Delfin S.A. and Bolicheras Unidas S.A. were established to produce fishmeal. Since that time, Cargill has been involved in many businesses, including agricultural commodity trading, coffee exports, sugar, fishmeal trading, and more.
